I am Dr. A B M Bodrul Alam, currently working as an Assistant Professor at Algoma University, Brampton Campus. Before joining Algoma, I was a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, ON, Canada. I completed my Ph.D. from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I did my M.Sc. at the Department of Computer Science, Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2012. Before joining Ryerson University, I served as a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Stamford University Bangladesh for 5 years. I have published several peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. I also collaborated with two Canadian Universities such as Western University, and the University of Winnipeg while conducting his research. My research interest mostly focuses on optimization, mathematical modeling, reliability analysis, reliable resource management, VM placement, VM migration, survivable network design, and cloud computing.
